Gave me my freedom back
Having this wi-fi system from JapanWiFiBuddy has allowed me more freedom to travel around Japan. I can use my tablet and the wi-fi to check out local attractions and get directions. I can use my smartphone's GPS along with the wi-fi to get turn-by-turn directions in ENGLISH to make it to unfamiliar locations, and no worries about getting lost, as wrong turns are re-routed quickly.
We are living in Japan for a year, too long for some systems (requiring 2 year contract) and too short for others (rental for only a few days). This worked out perfectly for us.
As far as customer service, I was able to ask for the special time that I needed and order quickly. The product arrived packaged well, with even a couple of candies as a special welcoming touch. :) The package included everything we needed to return the device when we are done with it (I rented for 6 months), and the external battery charger for those long days when we might need it is nice.

Helped a bunch
I would recommend this to anyone traveling in Japan. The Japanese are super helpful and will make your trip great. This will give you a little peace of mind and the ability to not have to ask for quite as much help. Shipping and function were great and I will use the service again when traveling in Japan.

Specifications
- Requires a SIM Unlocked device with esim capability. If your device is locked, please contact your carrier to unlock it.
- We include thorough instructions, via email, through our website and with customer service.
- These are data-only SIM Cards. Carrier-based voice calls and text messaging are NOT supported. However, data-based messaging and telephony solutions such as Skype, Facetime, Whatsapp, Line etc. are supported.
- To avoid provider validation complications, in some cases when users order far ahead of their actual trip, we will send a confirmation email, with a separate QR code later on, closer to the departure date.
