Great experience with pocket wifi
Tre provided excellent customer service. We had absolutely no issues; pick-up and drop-off from Narita airport were seamless (Tre provided a map to the post office), it worked like a charm, and the backup battery meant that it lasted as long as we did while we were out and about. We intend to use Japan WifiBuddy for our next trip as well.

Excellent service!
We recently returned from 2 weeks Japan and used Japan Wifi Buddy for portable wifi. Highly recommend them.
It was a seamless and efficient experience, our portable wifi, which was about the size of a mobile phone, was waiting at our hotel on arrival with clear and concise instructions. It was simple to use and we had excellent coverage via Docomo in cities, on trains and in rural Japan (Japanese alps).
It sure beat sitting in the lobby of the hotel and/or scouting out free wifi locations. Cost for 2 weeks was approx A$70 - very reasonable as 3 iphones and two ipads were hooked up to the one device.
Also, i should mention the great service & excellent communication also from Japan Wifi Buddy before and after our trip. All questions and queries answered promptly.

- Requires a SIM Unlocked device with esim capability. If your device is locked, please contact your carrier to unlock it.
- We include thorough instructions, via email, through our website and with customer service.
- These are data-only SIM Cards. Carrier-based voice calls and text messaging are NOT supported. However, data-based messaging and telephony solutions such as Skype, Facetime, Whatsapp, Line etc. are supported.
- To avoid provider validation complications, in some cases when users order far ahead of their actual trip, we will send a confirmation email, with a separate QR code later on, closer to the departure date.
