Saved me many times
I wouldn't have been able to find anything without the wifi. And with 6 people in our group, we wouldn't have been able to find each other. This Japan holiday season is the most crowded, and the wifi helped me with finding locations, communicating with family, and researching the trip -- saved me time and hassle. The drop off and delivery was excellent.
Only issues were some places (like in the Daiba mall) where I got no service. The error messages on the wifi units were all in Japanese, so I couldn't figure out what was wrong. A little guidance there (emailed images) would have helped. The gold unit also had a hard time charging, taking most of the night to get a full charge.
