Very useful, couldn’t have survived without it

My friend recommended WifiBuddy for my trip to Japan and I'm so glad I rented it. The service is reasonably priced and very easy to use. I was able to use my phone in Japan just like I do at home. When I had to extend my stay, I was able to chat online with WifiBuddy and they extended my contract in minutes. Very highly recommended!

Everything worked as expected with the Japan WifiBuddy. Pick up was as easy as going to the postal area of Haneda Airport and showing my passport and the included documentation. Setup was a breeze and speeds were good between two users and I had very little downtime (sometimes the WiFi would drop momentarily). Never did we notice any substantial drops in coverage even in some pretty remote places. Overall, I would completely recommend the Japan WifiBuddy Diamond package to anyone visiting Japan.

Fast internet access with great coverage, even in more rural areas. Worked in both Kanto and Kansai regions (Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Mt. Fuji, Nara and Nikko). Convenient pickup from Narita Airport and hassle-free return!

Wifi Buddy was excellent for our 2 week trip to Japan. We used the wifi in Toyko, Takayama, Hiroshima & Kyoto and on trains in between. No issues whatsoever. Pickup from airport and drop off in postbox was easy and wifi came with clear instructions on how to set up. Kept the teenage kids happy with the fast speed. We had the Diamond WifiBuddy for a little under three weeks and we used it all the time. Pocket charger was useful as we had the WifiBuddy on pretty much all the time, and I could use it to charge my phone too.

Getting and returning the unit during my trip was super simple. The wifi unit itself worked great, came with clear instructions, and a handy backup battery. Highly recommended for international visitors!

We ordered this device during a sale. The portable wifi worked well for our travels. There was three of us and none of us had any problems connecting or using the wifi. We traveled to Tokyo-Osaka-Kyoto-Nara-Kobe and never lost connection. The wifi did get warm but we made sure to leave it out for a bit to avoid overheating it. All-in-all it was a great experience to rent, use, and return the device. Will definitely choose Japan WifiBuddy again.

We loved our Wi-Fi buddy. We ordered the diamond pack about 2 months before going to Japan. It was so easy to get. I picked it up at the airport post office and it came everywhere with us. Our pocket Wi-Fi made travelling a breeze. We knew which trains to take, where to change and how much it cost. Pocket Wi-Fi is a must when you visit Japan and Japan Wi-Fi Buddy was perfect. Will be getting again next time too.
