Fantastic product for reliable wifi to travel Japan with

I rented the diamond WifiBuddy from 9/29-10/12. It was mailed directly to my hotel and it was given to me by staff the moment I checked in. It included clear instructions, a portable battery to charge it on the go, and a return envelope. We never had issues with WiFi access. It worked perfectly. Only had two times where it was connected but no access. All I had to do was restart the device and it worked fine again. Battery lasted early morning until about 5pm. Then we would just connect it to the provided portable battery. They also email you to let you know when it has been shipped. It's also one of the most affordable options available.

Was awesome! Except would only intermittently hold a charge for the entire day. Otherwise it was a great internet connection to have while on the go.

Having the Japan WiFi Buddy hotspot made internet access a breeze. Being able to carry your internet connection with you is the ultimate in connectivity. Having the ability to get directions, finding restaurants and hotels, and looking up Japan Rail and other transportation schedules made traveling easy. When traveling in Japan this is a must. Besides all of the advantages afforded by having a WiFi hotspot, the team that supports you is superb.

This is my second time to use WifiBuddy and again, it was fantastic. The device was waiting at our hotel in Tokyo when we arrived, easy to use, and never let us down. We were a family of 5 and used it constantly. The extra battery pack came in handy on our long days travelling. I also really appreciated the service from the company - when I had questions before leaving Australia, they were always ready to help with immediate responses online/via email. Very impressed! Highly recommended.

Very easy to use! Couldn't have survived 6 weeks in Japan without it - an absolute lifesaver.

Was very easy to pickup, setup, and send back. The service worked great as well. We had high speeds and plenty of bandwidth - enough for me, my wife, and son to all be doing our own thing. Highly recommend!

Easy process from airport pick up to posting in mail box. Clear instructions, always had a wifi even on Koyasan and in Typoon weather. Will use again if in Japan. Recommend highly.

We stayed in Japan for 10 days and used the Wifi buddy throughout our trip. It kept its charge very well and the wifi never got too slow. Easy to pick-up and return. Very impressed with the service!

Great cost compared to some of the competition. Outstanding customer service. Excellent speeds across Japan. I used mine in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Ise and up in Koya. Always greats speeds and strong connection, including on the train moving between cities. Would highly recommend using this company/product. I will definitely use them again next time I travel to Japan.

JWB is a great company to rent portable WiFi from. JWB associates were always very helpful and quick to reply to any of my emails/questions/concerns. There was also an earthquake in Japan prior to my trip. JWB reached out to me and kept me completely informed. They explained that the earthquake affected their office and shipping companies. Because of this, shipments were backed up and there was a chance of late delivery. This was totally understandable and not their fault at all, but they still did everything they could on their part to ensure the quickest delivery. And yes, the WiFi arrived on time! Overall, they were very attentive to their customers. Great customer support and the portable wifi worked very well. There were 6 of us sharing the WiFi and none of us experienced any issues.

Process and product exactly as advertised.

We recently rented the Diamond pocket WiFi for 16days and could not fault it. It never dropped out,never slowed or glitched with 4 heavy users pretty much continuously connected. Would highly recommend Japan WiFi Buddy to anyone looking for pocket WiFi in Japan .

Can't emphasize enough how much our pocket WiFi saved us from wandering around lost in the prefectures of Tokyo and wasting valuable holiday time. Picking up and dropping off the japanwifibuddy was also incredibly easy using the post office at Haneda airport. Thanks japanwifibuddy! 10/10
