I used the WifiBuddy while in Japan for a week and it was fantastic. There wasn't an area where I didn't have reception and the wifi speed was great. The device saved me a lot of times when I got lost and was able to use the internet to find my way back. The spare battery was also helpful as i was able to charge the device anywhere. Highly recommended.

For us, it was easy to pick up, easy to drop off, and it made navigating Tokyo so much simpler! I loved how thorough they were about ensuring we had all the information we needed to pick up the device. It never dropped signal; it was super reliable. We'll be going with this company again if we visit in the future :)

I had enough speed to stream, which was my only requirement. This thing never failed me, nor did it ever overheat during the summer heat. This will be my go-to for my next trip to Japan!

As a family of 4 we used this all day and all over Japan without any issues. Make sure you bring the power bar so you can stay connected all day. Worked well for us in Kyoto, Tokyo, around Niigata and Chiba. There was always fast WiFi available!

The Diamond WifiBuddy worked great. The customer service was very quick to respond and help me as my travel plans were changed last minute and they were able to get me another product sent to a different city right away

WiFi lasted the whole time that we needed it even with being on our phones for a lot of the day. Easily picked up and dropped off at our hotel, would recommend!

Worked well! Had constant connection for entire 10 day rental period traveling through Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Hiroshima. Easily accommodated 3 simultaneous users and could stay powered on for the entire day with the use of the provided battery pack

Our little wi-fi from WiFi Buddy was one of the best decisions made for the trip. Was waiting for us upon arrival as promised, Easy to set up, convenient size and worked great throughout Japan!

Diamond device was perfect. Speeds were pretty good. Pick up and drop off at the airport were very easy.

I used the diamond wifibuddy for 1 year straight and had very few problems at all. Anytime I did have a problem it was not at the company’s fault and JapanWifiBuddy was always fast to help resolve the issue and take care of me as a customer. Truly 10/10

Cannot imagine our trip without it. Convenient, fast, reliable, fair pricing. Only wish is that the battery could truly last a full day. We usually started our day early and were running low on battery by late afternoon. The backup battery bailed us out in those cases.

My only complaint is that the device itself had a short battery life, but the extra battery that was included was helpful

It was convenient and easy to take it back. I was happy to rent from Diamond WifiBuddy.

Everything received and worked as expected. Battery life for the pocket WiFi was a little disappointing as some days I got as little as 4 hours before having to plug in to a backup battery.

It was a nice experience, I had good signal and speeds almost all the time. The only thing that could have been better is the devices battery, sometimes it would show as charged and after 30 mins it would run out of battery. But since I had a power bank it was fine.

This was my first time using a pocket wifi system, and it was a BREEZE! Japan Wifi Buddy give you everything you need for a fast connevtion, and supported seven people very well on a two week trip.

Was in Japan for 3 weeks with a group of friends, and it worked great as a proxy for phone services. Would definitely use again if I take another large trip to JP.

Overall the WifiBuddy had service everywhere I went and was exactly as promised, the only exception was the battery life. I used hotel WiFi in the morning and night, but around 13:00 the WifiBuddy would die every day. I had brought my own very large battery charging pack, so no worry. Plus, they included a small backup battery too.

Sometimes there was weak connection, but most of the time it functioned well.

We used the WiFi Buddy for a 8-day trip to Japan and it worked perfectly! The service online was terrific and fast. All we had to do was order it and pick it up at the post office in the airport. Returning it was also extremely easy as the original package came with an already labeled return package. I would highly recommend this service and will definitely use it again!

Ordered online and picked up at Narita Airport. Easy to follow instructions on where the pick-up location was and all we needed to show was the shipping slip which was included in the email. It came charged and ready to use. Worked wonderfully throughout the entire trip, even in remote parts of Hokkaido. Slipped everything in the prepaid envelope at the airport and dropped it off right before going through security. Would highly recommend.
