The service is good, i get the device easy from post office in Narita airport. To send back also easy as already provided with mail envelope so I can drop on box for post. The signal sometimes is slow, this is a point to be improved.

Hello, if you travel to Japan or anywhere internationally you need wi-if. Japan WI-Fi buddy met our needs perfectly. It kept a charge all day long. It was sent directly to our hotel and we mailed it back from the hotel in the self-stamped envelope provided. The communication was stellar and the service awesome. I rented a Diamond WifiBuddy, that was delivered to our hotel in Tokyo. It worked like a charm, and at the end of our trip, I returned the equipment by simply dropping everything into the mailbox in the airport. Simple, effective, practical and flawless.

WifiBuddy provided an excellent service with 100% up time, plenty of bandwidth, and simple no fuss service. I picked up the package at Narita airport terminal 2 post office (Level 3 Departures near Check-in counter D). I dropped it off there three weeks later too - all easy and no fuss. Especially liked having the spare battery which we carried everyday, and used now and then when we were out from morning into the evening. Signal was always perfect - fast and we never went near our capacity running three mobile devices and a laptop. No hiccups. I haven't tried others services but I would absolutely go straight to WifiBuddy next trip. SO helpful to always have Google maps, Hyperdia train schedules, Instagram, Facetime, and Safari with us at all times! More than paid for itself facilitating and active travel experience.

Super convinient, worked perfectly and great customer service!

I was in Japan for 3 weeks including cities and rural areas. My internet speed was always fast and I only lost connection a couple times: once in the mountains and once or twice on the subway. The device would usually run out of battery in the evening but just hook it up to a portable charger (I used my own but they provide one too) and you're good to go. Needless to say, I was quite satisfied with the performance of the device and the ease of pickup and drop off. If I ever go to Japan again, I will for sure be renting from Japan WifiBuddy again!

I've visited Japan multiple times and used multiple pocket-wifi services. This is my first time using Japan WifiBuddy and I am definitely going to use them again next time. I used the diamond wifibuddy which is cheaper than most of their competitors' lower tiered options. It really is unlimited bandwidth with no throttling (used more than 10GB/3 days while in Tokyo) and the coverage really is top notch. I had high speed internet throughout Hakone and Numazu, even Uchiura-mito which is pretty far away from any dense city.

Having a pocket wifi when you are travelling was definitely convenient! We wished we could have the pocket wifi when we arrived to navigate our way to our accomodation but because our arrival time was late at night, we had it delivered to our accomodation. The instructions were clear, the bag was so organised and providing two chargers were also a plus for us to charge the power bank and the Pocket wifi. Will definitely recommend buying the insurance too as sometimes one will get forgetful. We actually left one charger at one accomodation and luckily we had insurance to half the payment. Really impressed by the quick response and assistance by the team! Will definitely use Japan WifiBuddy again my next trip! Thank you!

I rented Dinamon WifiBuddy during my travel. I had no difficulties in using wifi in any locations and sharing with others. Great experience! Will be using again if I get another chance of visiting Japan.

Very reliable

Picked the WiFi device up at the post office in the Narita airport and dropped it off at the same post office. Staff even double checked that my contact info was correct so I wouldn't run into problems picking up the device. I'm glad they did, because the contact info I had entered didn't match my passport.

I ordered my WifiBuddy to arrive at my second hotel destination in Japan thinking that I wouldn't need it so much. I was wrong. This tool is fantastic for finding your way, researching hidden gems near you on the spot and changing up your day's itinerary at the drop of a hat. Having experienced Japan both having and not having this wifi, I would definitely recommend it. The pack includes a power pack and charging cables which is very much appreciated and the receiving/returning process was a breeze.

The WifiBuddy worked at almost every place I went to. There were some places where the WIfiBuddy didn't receive any signal but it was no problem because there were other ways I could get Wifi. Overall I would purchase again for my next trip.
