The pocket wifi battery was good for the whole day on one fully charge. Excellent

We used JWB last year on our trip and same impeccable timing with our package being delivered. The only minor flaw which isnt JWB’s control is the mailbox drop off doors in Japan are skinny and we had difficulty pushing the return package through the door 😂

The wifi Hotspot was easy to pick up at Narita Airport, and provided great reception throughout Japan and Kyoto. I often had decent signal when both of the friends I was traveling with had no signal on their US cell phones with foreign travel plans. The wifi Hotspot was easy to drop off at the airport post office on my way back home at the end of the trip. The only downsides to this arrangement was keeping an extra device charged, and carrying around an extra box for the trip. I would estimate that I needed to charge the box in the early evening after a full day out if I was going out again that night, but it wasn't a big issue since I had a portable charger that was provided with the wifi hotspot.

Easy to use and the Wi-Fi signal was consistently strong (except in certain basement levels of certain buildings, but that’s to be expected). My only recommended area of improvement would be to upgrade devices to ones that have a longer battery life. Our’s would go from full charge to dead in half a day. The provided battery pack came in handy, but if the device could hold a longer charge, the overall experience would have been perfect. Otherwise a great company and service. Will definitely use if we go back to Japan.

I have just returned from 4 weeks in Japan. We used the mobile wifi buddy for the entire trip with multiple devices connected and it worked brilliantly. The service, delivery and follow up from Saeko was first class. If we travel to Japan again i will definitely be using this service again. Highly recommend. Thanks

I'm so glad we decided to rent a WifiBuddy. In an age with data heavy applications, one can't expect random free WiFi or even hotel WiFi to handle it. It used to, but it throttles you these days. If you want data to work like you're at home on your WiFi (presuming you have good WiFi at home), get a WiFiBuddy. Your trip will be more enjoyable.

Easiest set-up I've dealt with in a long time, press power and you have internet. Once it's on, it's relatively fast and rarely, if ever, drops out of reception. It helped us every step of the way. Great value for money, when I return to Japan, I'll be getting another wifibuddy!

All went well and the wifi buddy was our best mate in Japan. Giving us to access to internet at unlimited quota.

I’m glad I got it. 6 of us used it all the time and never had problem. I wish battery lasts all day. Battery run out but I connect to the aux battery they provided for free so we were able to use it all day. It was excellent service. Two thumbs up!

I ordered this about 6 days before my trip to Japan. It was a little tricky to find in Narita Terminal 1. Just know it’s in the mall and next to the Starbucks. The Internet was flawless and I never lost connection until I ran out of battery. The battery lasted 8-12 hours depending on usage so make sure you bring the external battery that comes with it. It’s better than my home WiFi router! I loved it. The whole process was easy and I was a little apprehensive of ordering something I wouldn’t see until I was at the airport. I’m glad I did! Customer support via email was super quick too! Thanks WiFi buddy! I plan on using on my next trip at the end of the year. Arigatou gozaimasu!

This made traveling around Japan so easy and would recommend everyone use this when traveling. The only issue we faced was the backup battery would not stay on to charge our devices when they were low.
